PURE DESI COWDUNG CAKES FOR AGNIHOTRAM , HOMAS AND HAVANS

The Indian Yagnya is a mysterious one and has both philosophical, mystical  and ecological significance. The art and science of invoking devas is the prime objective of yagnyas.

The laws and injunctions in the performance of the yagnya are numerous and rigid. The size of the yagnya vedi, the number of bricks, the tree for the samidh , the pure dried desi cow dung circular cakes and so on.The ancient taxts are specific that only the cow products are suitable for the yagnya. As the interbred and imported varieties do not have the Hump , they are not cows. As per our shastras it is the Hump where Brahma resides in a cow.

`
The present post is about the Pure Desi Cowdung Cakes. These are prepared in a goshala exclusively on traditional lines . They are collected from Native Indian Cows in the most natural circumstances possible. The cows are not tied and they are grazed in forests and hills. These cows only give the Cow Dung of the most potent powers.

We are compelled to market the output of the Goshala for the proper upkeep of the cows and for feeding the people who take care of them under the most trying conditions.

Presently these cow dung cakes are made in two sizes. The first one is made especially for Agnihotram.
